Tools
·        Any yarn – I used DK Acrylic (any brand – I used scraps) Roughly 17g
·        Any hook – I used a 5mm hook
·        Tapestry needle – for weaving in ends
·        Scissors
Notes
·        Ch3 and Ch2 counts as a st.
·        Ch1 does not count as a st.
·        If you would prefer to start your round with a standing st, then that is fine.
·        I changed colour every round – this is optional.
·        Weave in ends as you go!
·        The beauty of this square is that you can stop on any round that you wish! You can keep it small or add lots of rounds to make a huge square!
I ended my square after Round 7. My finished square after blocking measured 16cm x 16cm. This was achieved by using a 5mm hook and DK acrylic yarn scraps.Â
